Jürgen Scheunemann, Managing Partner

The agency founder Jürgen Scheunemann started out working as a journalist for various media in the US, the UK and Germany. He was a writer for Berlin’s leading daily Der Tagesspiegel, worked as associate producer for the BBC Television (Panorama) and published various books, feature stories and regular articles in German, US and UK publications and with publishing houses such as Hemispheres, Frankfurter Rundschau, Random House and Dorling-Kindersley, to name but a few. Later on he was a writer for some of Europe’s largest PR agencies such as EURO RSCG, ABC and Ketchum PR.

Jürgen Scheunemann studied History, German, Psychology and Political Sciences at the University of Maryland, the Free University of Berlin and graduated there in 1997. A Fulbright, DAAD and DFG scholar, he also served as Fox Fellow at the Center for Regional and Area Studies at Yale University (1998-2000). In 2001, he founded scheunemann – communicating for berlin.
